Healing Properties of Curd : As Explained in Ayurveda


According to ayurveda among those properties of curd are acknowledged follows.

1. The curd is sort of sour (amla) to designer.
2. It absorbs water from intestines (hence mentioned as Grahi). By the virtue inside the property it is traditionally to treat diarrhea not to mention dysentery.
3. It causes heaviness when easily use in excess and may cause constipation.
4. It mitigates vata dosha, also increases kapha and pitta. Curd should not be used in diseases when blood is vitiated by doshas.
5. Regular consumption of this in pure form increases surplus fat and may cause obesity.
6. Curd helps to extend quality and quantity put together by semen.
7. It strengthens your system.
8. Consumption of curd enhances digestion (agni), stimulates sampling and acts as a variety of appetizer.
9. It is found beneficial in diseases put together by duodenum.
10. It reduces irritability of bladder so helping in emptying bladder gradually.

Dos and donts in order to curd:

1. Curd should not be eaten at night.
2. It shouldn't be boiled or orthopedic.
3. Always it needs to be mixed with honey let alone sugar before consuming.
4. Its properties get enhanced when combined with cooked green gram or ghee or gooseberries (amla, Embelica Officinalis).
5. Curd is employed only when it is really formed or completely coagulated.
6. Consumption of incompletely coagulated curd may surface herpes outbreaks, psoriasis, bleeding in hemorrhoids, ibs et cetera. and may cause confusion.

Home remedies using curd

1. Dandruff is a known cause of hair fall out. Applying sour curd thanks to pack to scalp , nor hair, once in every week prevents formation of dermititis.
2. Mix moong dal (green gram) powdered with curd and massage these scalp and brush genuinely on hair. Wash it well after 1 hour. This will aid to prevent hair causes damage to and dandruff. It also helps to increase hair beneficial properties.
3. Dry orange peel in summer and dust it. Mix this powder without much curds massage it on neck and face. This acts as effective cleanser and cleanses stopped up pores thus preventing acne cream and pimples.
4. Curds when combined with sugar acts as a good body coolant and quick energizer. It also quenches hunger.
5. A mixture of besan (gram flour) is a good pack to rejuvenate deal with and body skin.
