Symptoms of Worms in Dogs


Most through the commonly occurring health problems in dogs applied attributed to infection resulting from worms. Five different kinds of worms are acknowledged to infect the dogs. They include the roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, whipworms, issue heartworms.

Although the symptoms in relation to each worm type enhance widely, there are certain symptoms that appears to be common in all worm infections. Some of most commonly occurring signs of worm infection in dogs include dietary, appetite loss, lethargy, nausea, diarrhea, bad breath, issue dull coat.

If they have found dragging or rubbing his anus with the ground quite often, it's highly likely that it has developed worms.

Various symptoms that are commonly specific to infection by a particular kind of worm are listed below:

Tapeworms: Weight loss, digestive tract pain, itching, restlessness, issue vomiting. Dried, broken segments of the worms may be seen in dog feces as small grains of rice.

Roundworms: Pot belly formation, diarrhea, sudden weight-loss, and vomiting. They infect the intestines tending to pass from the mother to the current puppies via contaminated indulge, milk, soil, or your blood.

Heartworms: Sudden increase in low blood pressure, fainting spells, enlarged torso, general weakness, difficulty throughout breathing, and persistent coughing. If ignored for established, heartworm infection can induce congestive heart failures.

Whipworms: Anemia, lack of fluids, lethargy, bloody stools, intestinal bleeding, and general weak point.

Hookworms: Coughing or wheezing, dryness of skin, digestive tract cramps, weight loss, slimy/bloody chair, itching on feet, issue diarrhea.

If you observe the most aforementioned symptoms in your dog or cat, take it immediately to a few local vet for further examination hence the infection can be treated well soon enough, much before it gets worse.
