Anal Fissures and Fistulae


Anal fissures and fistulae are not very common but just after they occur, they become a greuling and unpleasant condition. Rectal tearing is distressing and highly protected from treatment and everybody endures it at some point in their life. This tear in the lining of the anus or go with the skin around we call it anal fissure. Fistulae are the abnormal channels by your anus which open on your skin surrounding the anus.

Anal fissure and fistula do not have specific causes but constipation is commonly associated with them. They are also of a number of conditions making sure an inflammatory digestive system. These conditions may become Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis or much bigger. Fistula is caused by selection pus called abscess and infection, in one of that your glands near anus and it can even lead to multiple anal fissures.

Fistula symptoms is also being loss of appetite, abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, fever and weight loss.

Anal fissure and fistula need care and treatment. The care to be taken is firstly having a fiber - rich diet with fruits and veggies which prevents the fissures event and fastens the process of recovery. Medications are also used if healthy eating plan is not sufficient, for up to controlling constipation, with over-the-counter medicines. Creams or ointments that contains pain-killing local anesthetic agents are very useful at relieving that the pain of anal fissures. Relief of each pain reduces the spasm within the muscles of the lower colon, which often prevents the actual fissure from healing.
