Pet cat Vomiting: Causes and Points


Vomiting that occurs occasionally in one otherwise healthy cat really need to be not a reason to be concerned. Vomiting that persists over 72 hours with or without indications or symptoms such as appetite damages, depression, lethargy, or diarrhea can indicate much more severe problem and should be addressed. * Gradually reintroducing small frequent meals more often than not daily over the next 2-3 days resolves most cases.

COMPLEMENTARY THERAPY

Homeopathic

* Nux Vomica 6c as high as Use for cats from which acts moderately ill and want to be left alone or elsewhere are hiding. No meals 10 minutes before to be able to after treatment.

The dosage is 1 pearl every 4 hours before signs are gone. Discontinue if cat is not better after 24 occurrence. Continue up to 5 days when the cat is responding.

* Pulsatilla 6c - Use for cats hesitant to drink. Use same dose opposite Nux Vomica.

Herbal

* Chamomile Tea - This extract is soothing and lets off nausea. Use for realistic stomach upsets.

Recipe: Pour 1 mug boiling water over 1 Tbsp the flowers, steep 15 minutes, strain and dilute to the equal amount of water. Give a teaspoon simultaneously after food and water were withheld for the first 12 to day.

* Note: Peppermint tea also alleviates nausea but unlike dogs and the ones, cats don't like mint.
